This is a print of one of the collages using paintings that my daughter and I created during lockdown.

10% of the proceeds of this print will go to Child Health, part of East Kent Hospitals Charity, which funds those "extras" that are not available through normal NHS funding for East Kent's youngest patients. The children's services include Rainbow Children's Ward at the Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Hospital in Margate.
 
The story:
Bonnie is 2 and a half. She loves to paint, get messy and to mix colours. Her favourite colour is yellow. While she's been at home with us, not at nursery as she would have been, we have spent hours painting big sheets of paper with colourful splashes and patterns. While the artwork was building up, and I was starting to run out of paper to do my own experimenting with collage, I came up with the idea of combining our artwork to make a lasting memory of our painting sessions.
 
This one reminds us of the sunsets over the beach where we live on the Kent coast.
 
I asked Bonnie what she thought about donating some money from our art to a local hospital and she said 'That's such a good idea!'
